We haven’t seen Dennis is a few years. It will be nice to see him return, however progress photos show him very small compared to his former self. The entire lineup is one of the strongest. 2018 Arnold Classic Open Bodybuilding Predictions
Top 6 Predictions:
- Roelly Winklaar : The below photo was taken between 3-4 weeks out from the Arnold. If Roelly looks like this, it is game over. Rumors say that his waist is small and he will weigh close to 275!!!
- Dexter Jackson: Dexter has won 5 Arnold Classic titles, the most. This screenshot is from the end of January and Dexter looks amazing. Dexter can win this thing, and I expect him to compete. It is all about Roelly’s conditioning and if Dexter’s legs are still there.
- William Bonac: The new giant killer is one of the most complete bodybuilders on the planet. He finished 3rd at the Mr. Olympia and have him competing for the top spot here. Looking at this shot that is recent, I think he is a little less conditioned than he needs to be. We shall see.
- Cedric McMillan: The 2017 Arnold Classic champion didn’t do that well at the Mr. Olympia. There has been no pictures posted of Cedric before the show. If he comes in like last year, he could win. If he is off, I think he will still get a top 6.
5. Steve Kuclo: Steve has taken off some time and it looks like he has lost a little bit of size, but gained a hell of a lot of conditioning in the meantime. I think he looks great and could definite contend for this title.
6. Maxx Charles: Maxx is a freaky bodybuilder, and when his conditioning is there, he can compete with nearly everyone. He doesn’t always nail his conditioning. The 6th position was the hardest for me to predict.
Dark Horses
Lionel Beyeke: We say this every competition. He has all the tools to be a top bodybuilder but most of the time he misses his conditioning. If he nails it, he can win.
Dennis Wolf: Dennis has lost a lot of size. The videos he has posted are inspiring because he is coming back from a major injury, however it doesn’t look like he will be big enough to compete, if we are wrong, he could win this thing… again!
Jonathan Dela Rosa: Jon is a great bodybuilder, and from his IG, he looks shredded. It will be interesting to get him in this lineup.
Hidetada Yamagishi: I think it is great that Hide is moving back up to the Open category, however looking at his IG photos, he doesn’t look sharp this close to the competition.
